The National Youth Sports Centre Tenero (CST) is the arm of the Swiss Federal office of Sport that promotes sport for young people. CST provides excellent facilities for the training and competitions of many sporting disciplines. CST hosts many national and international events.

 

How to get there
Airport: Lugano, Switzerland (35km) and Milano Malpensa, Italy (120km). Transportation will be provided from these two airports for teams that are staying in the official team hotel. Please note that Milano will be hosting the World Exposition 2015 during the Swimming Championships. We advise reserving your flight in advance. 

Train: Train station Tenero (5min from venue), Teams arriving at Zurich Airport travel by train to Tenero (appr. 3h). Change in Bellinzona and take the Tenero train. When you arrive at the station in Tenero, take the two underpasses, which will bring you directly to the Sports Centre (10 minutes walk).

Car: Leave the motorway at the Bellinzona Sud exit and head for Locarno. Change to the A13 at Quartino and take the Tenero exit. After the roundabout and underpass, turn immediately right. You will find plenty of free car parking spaces at your disposal.

Smoking Ban
CST is a smoking-free zone. This applies to all buildings and to the whole CST campus. Smoking is permitted only in designated areas. Smoking is not permitted in any are designed for competitors, either prior or during competitions.
