23 National teams are attending the Event. Traditionally the biggest teams are coming from France, Germany, Russia, Italy and Hungary. Alisia Tattamanzi (ITA), defending champion in 7.5 km will be challenged by all three World Open Water Swimming Championships medallists from 2014 Nikoletta Kiss (HUN), Anastasiia Azarova (RUS), Flora Sibalin (HUN) and one year younger Charlyene Secrestat (FRA).
In the Men’s 7.5km race Milan Duje (CRO) will try to improve his second place from last year, challenged by his teammate Ivan Sitic (last year’s Youth Champion) and Kirill Belyaev (RUS), bronze medallist from the World Junior OWS Championships 2014.
Also the 5km Youth race will be very exciting with international rising stars on start: Sophie Evans (GBR), Holly Hibbott (GBR), Carlotta De Mattia (ITA) and Dimitrios Negris (GRE).
